Sssshhh

Mommy got up from her knitting spot, and if I am really, really stealthy and make myself really, really small, maybe she won't notice me here. I won't touch the knitting or the knitting book she likes to look at when she is thinking about summer. If she notices me, I'll just pretend like I don't know anything. Down? I've never heard that word before.

I am not sure why Blogger reposted my post from one year ago, sorry about any confusion... Thank you for the sweet comments....

  1. Why do you guys always do that? And why don't you think we wouldn't notice that you've taken our warm spot ;-)

Wow, your mom's made a lot of progress on that gorgeous sweater!

  2. Could the curl up position be any tighter or cozier? Your photo makes me want to nap too. At least your knitting isn't being used as a pillow!

  3. *ssshhh* You are smart not touching mom's knitting! I won't tell her you are here either ... that's a spot to compete for, indeed!

  4. and pippi seems to be very knit safe. i've had my share of (k)not knit-safe greys. and they all have a desire to go for the $$$ mohair. classy.
they went for my peace fleece, too, but as that was going to be felted, i wasn't worried. i can actually say that most of my brainwash bag has been prefelted in various greyhound mouths.

  6. Ha! Stealthy they are! "Nothing to see here, nope, not a thing." :-) The new guy is always trying to steal mama's spot - but he buries his whole head under the throw - "If I can't see her, she can't see me!" Love those ears :) and the sweater!

  8. We used to have a black cat and a black velvet throw on the couch .I'd sit in my spot and sit on Uncle Ted ..so he learnt to lay on the back of the couch .I think your poor dog would fall off alas! I can see that exquisite knitting !

  12. I think blogger just thought that your puppy needed some attention. hah

My dog does that too- we don't let him jump up on the couch but he will sneak it every once in a while. They like to test you, like little kids. :)

  13. Pippi is adorable. She's maybe only pretending to be small and asleep, but probably watching every move. And when your back is turned, she is going to enjoy a little turn on the sweater, just to test its softness...that's how it starts. :) And they know they are forgiven everything.

Hvis du fremdeles har den liggende, kan du sende den om igjen? hvis ikke, never mind... Ikke gaa gjennom arbeidet med aa skrive det ned en gang til!
